The project provides for the construction of a new landfill cell 3 within Phase 2 of the Candler Road Landfill. Work for this contract consist of excavating the excess soil within the cell footprint, stockpiling or placing and compacting at other locations at the site, constructing a base cell liner system, HDPE flexible membrane liner, leachate collection layer, leachate collection pipework, forcemain, manholes, sumps, and pumping system.
